Terms of service

AgoroFie provides live, interactive games for meetings, virtual events, and team bonding. These terms are the agreement between you and AgoroFie for using the service. By creating an account, hosting a session, or joining one, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use AgoroFie.

You must be at least 13 years old to use AgoroFie. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. Players can join a session with only a room code and a display name — no account is required to play.

Hosting requires an account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity that happens under it. Tell us promptly at admin@agorofie.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

AgoroFie is meant for fun, respectful play. When you host or join a session, you agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Use the service to harm, deceive, or abuse other participants.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Scrape, resell, or repackage the service or its content without permission.

As a host, you are responsible for the conduct of your session and any content you add to it.

Sessions include ready-made questions, and some are generated automatically. We work to keep content appropriate but cannot guarantee every generated item is accurate or suitable for every audience — you review each round before you start it, and you decide what runs in your room. Content you add yourself remains yours; by adding it you give us permission to store and display it to run your session.

Hosting is free, with every current format included. Tips (“buy me a coffee”) are entirely optional and are handled by our payment provider, Stripe; AgoroFie never sees or stores your card details. Tips are voluntary contributions, not payment for a product, and are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

We aim to keep AgoroFie running smoothly but provide it “as is.” The service may be unavailable at times for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control, and features may change or be removed. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

AgoroFie relies on other providers to work — including Supabase for the database and authentication, Stripe for tips, and music preview services for the audio rounds. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for their services.

AgoroFie, its name, logo, and the software behind it belong to us. These terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without permission. You keep ownership of the content you create; we keep ownership of the service.

You can stop using AgoroFie at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service, or puts other users at risk. If we do, we will make a reasonable effort to let you know.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, AgoroFie is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use AgoroFie after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
