Privacy policy

AgoroFie provides live, interactive games for virtual events and team bonding. This policy explains what information we collect when you host or join a session, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using AgoroFie you agree to the practices described here.

• Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information to create and identify your host account. AgoroFie does not offer password or email-based signup.
• Session data. Games you create, rounds you run, player display names, answers submitted, scores, and results from a session.
• Technical data. Basic, non-identifying information your browser sends automatically, such as device and browser type, used to keep the service secure and working.
• Feedback and reviews. Messages, ratings, optional display names, and whether you allow us to publish a review. Reviews are moderated before publication.
• Optional analytics. If allowed, PostHog collects anonymous usage and privacy-masked diagnostics. We exclude names, room codes, answers, and typed content.

• To improve AgoroFie using submitted feedback and reviews.

AgoroFie’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request your basic profile and email to identify your account, we do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for unrelated purposes.

Account and session data are stored using Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Data is protected in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to what is needed to operate the service. Sentry processes limited error and performance diagnostics, and PostHog processes optional analytics when allowed.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the infrastructure and service providers that run AgoroFie, including Vercel, Supabase, Sentry, and optionally PostHog, or when required by law. Information you submit during a session may be visible to others in that same room. We publish a review only when you give permission and an administrator approves it.

We keep account and hosted-session information while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated hosted game data from Settings. You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing admin@agorofie.com. Limited records may remain temporarily in provider backups or where retention is required by law.

AgoroFie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of AgoroFie after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
